Based in north east Scotland,Hidden Peak Running Group is managed by international runners Robbie Simpson and Fraser Clyne who between them have over 40 years of competitive  experience covering road, track, trail and mountain running from 3km to 100km.

PERSONAL TRAINING PLANS & ADVICE

Let us help you find your hidden peak. A running plan can assist you achieve your goals, no matter what level you are at. We can help with these as well as provide motivational guidance and support on how to tackle your key races. 

 

TRAINING PLANS

Training Plans can be provided for any length of period, but to measure any benefit we would advise an initial 16 week commitment.

 

We have provided prices for this but also illustrated 12 and 8 week plan prices as well.

 

16 Week Plan

Option 1

Initial face-to-face one hour discussion to examine/assess your running background,recent training,your aims and your commitments over the coming 16 weeks. Within one week of this consultation we will provide you with a detailed 16 week plan.

Cost: £200

 

Option 2

Initial face to face one hour discussion to examine/assess your running background,recent training,your aims and your commitments over the coming 16 weeks. Within one week of this consultation we will provide you with a detailed 16 week plan.

A face to face review meeting every four weeks to assess progress, discuss any issues and, if necessary, amend and update the plan

Cost: £320 (includes three meetings after initial consultation)

 

Option 3

Initial face-to-face one hour discussion to examine/assess your running background,recent training,your aims and your commitments over the coming 16 weeks. Within one week of this consultation we will provide you with a detailed 16 week plan.

A face to face review meeting every four weeks to assess progress, discuss any issues and, if necessary, amend and update the plan.

Unlimited (within reason) opportunities to contact us by email/phone with any questions for the duration of the plan.

Cost: £400 (includes three meetings after initial consultation)

12 Week Plan

Option 1: £160

Option 2: £240 (includes 2 meetings after initial assessment)

Option 3: £300 (includes 2 meetings after initial assessment)

 

8 Week Plan

Option 1: £120

Option 2: £160 (includes 1 meeting after initial assessment)

Option 3: £200 (includes 1 meeting after initial assessment)

 

 Notes:

For all options we would ask you to send us a weekly email summarising how each training session has gone; how you feel etc.

We will use this information to provide feedback at the four-weekly meetings (Option 2) or more regularly (Option 3).

For clients who are unable to meet in person (or live further afield) the initial consultation and follow- up meetings can be done by phone, facetime etc

 

Detailed Points

Option 1: we carry out the initial assessment and provide a plan for the full period. There is no review process under this arrangement. You can, however, switch from one option to another at any time if you wish. This is why we ask you to submit a brief weekly email report on how you are progressing – so we have a record to work on should you choose to move to a different Option.

Option 2: this allows for feedback to be provided to you at the end of a four-week period and to make any adjustments to your Plan at that stage. We are unable to give detailed advice outwith these periods.

Option 3: this allows for us to make any necessary adjustments to your plan at any time to take account of any changes in circumstance.



PERSONAL CONSULTATION

If you are looking for some expert guidance on how to build your own training plan from scratch, improve an existing plan or would like advice on any running related topics, then we can offer one hour face-to-face consultations. If, after one of these consultation sessions you wish to progress to one of our training packages there will be no cost for the initial assessment.

Cost per one hour- £40

GROUP RUNNING SESSIONS

We organise regular run training sessions for our clients in the Aberdeen area. These are held in a variety of locations, each offering a different type of running experience. Sessions typically last for one hour and include warm-up drills, a planned main run, cool down and an opportunity for informal Q&A. SEMINARS & MOTIVATIONAL TALKS


Over many years we’ve delivered presentations and seminars to a variety of audiences including running clubs, school groups or businesses. Whether it’s focussed on a specific event or running topic or a general Q&A session we enjoy getting involved. Just let us know your requirements and we’ll be happy to provide a quote.

TRAINING CAMPS
